Today, when people talk about the Internet, many of then think that the Web is the Internet. However, what most of people think of as the Internet didn't even exist prior to about 1992. In this section we will take a look at what the Internet looked like before there were mice attached to computers and before there were pictures, sounds and multimedia. Of course much of what existed in the past is still with us in the present. It just may not look the same."
